Anesthesia for the Excision of Bronchial Tumor and Bronchial Stenosis and Reconstruction

Abstract
Success in tracheal and bronchial surgery is predictated on adequate ventialtion prior to and during operation. Various anesthetic methods have been advocated. The complications, impaired gas exchange and aspiration of blood or tissue debris, can occur during operation. Modifications of the ordinary endotracheal general anesthesia method are necessary to maintain normal gas exchange and prevent aspiration for blood or foreign materials.
We experienced two cases anesthesia for carinal rescetion by using methods that were introduced into clinical practice by others. We treated the patient satisfactoryly without complications.
